Is it just me or do others think that it is one of the oddest and most idiotic laws in action at the moment. Personally I feel that as long as someone willingly chooses to die they should be able to without consequence or being frowned upon, It's their life after all.

More importantly, how the hell are you going to arrest a corpse? You can't charge someone with suicide if they're actually successful, and you can't take the charges to anyone else who'd still be alive. And even if they did survive, what? Are you going to send them to prison for attempting? That'll just encourage them to finish themselves off if anything.

It's not actually a crime, at least in America.
-
You can't tax someone who's dead.
-
Because humans being alive is beneficial to the government in the form of tax payers. If you off yourself, not only will they not get a life time of taxes from you, but they also have to waste tax payer money to clean up the mess you've made. Not to mention it really sucks for your loved ones and will make them feel really bad.

Why does it even matter if its illegal. If you are going to commit suicide I doubt you are going to be worried about breaking the law.
-
Make this happen.

Then someone has to come and clean your ass up.
