This one took a little longer..

Annnnnnnddddd.... just shy of the deadline. Either way, I wanted to give my guy an environment to be in since that also really says a lot about the character. This is hand drawn with water-color pencils (So fancy) since the most powerful thing I was able to do with any programs I have is blur out the background a bit. Either way, here's what I just spent the last three days doing. Enjoy B.net community.

I should really start paying more attention, I keep missing these events.

Hot Dog! Here's mine. Those prizes are damn sweet, I must say.

Drawn in 15 minutes with a Prismacolor brush tip marker. (Cal: Can we submit more than one design? This was pretty fun.)

Edited by Biwald: 5/30/2013 12:50:37 AMThis is my Character Design for Destiny. He is a veteran Titan, forged from the strength and sacrifice of his fallen brothers. http://josephbiwald.deviantart.com/art/Titan-373367522 I based my characters armor off of Greek Spartan armor, and studied Destiny character concept art to help me out with the overall character build. I also made clean turn around poses for this character and will be posting that in the image description later (hopefully modeling the character later this year). Enjoy! -Joseph Biwald

Hey, Bungie Community Artists. I'm making this contest the source of a Community Focus feature next week, so we'll be highlighting the finalists on the Bungie Blog, and driving the community to a poll to select the winner. Sorry for the wait, but I'm hoping the increased exposure for all your awesome work will be well worth it. Love, DeeJ.

Edited by SixNakedMidgets: 5/20/2013 3:21:02 AMShowtime! (Final, for now.) A short bio to go with this guy: ~*~A male warlock. ~*~The energy orbs on his shoulder guards are linked to him and represent his mood/emotion at any given time; as well as his control over the Traveler's mysterious energies. ~*~He is a descendant and follower of a highly esteemed sect of ancient scientists, through who's studies allowed him to more quickly understand and control the Traveler's mysterious energies (kudos if you can figure out the "sect". hint: the logo on his regalia) ~*~Personal motto: "Brevity is the soul of wit". ~*~Loves Bruce Lee movies, but hates the way all of the high quality reproductions are in hologram formats only. ~*~Never misses an opportunity to "punch someone in the face with a piece of the sun". ~*~Envies others' use of erasers. Edit: ~*~He hates when his meditation time is cut short.

I felt like I was cheating by not adding some sort of foreground or background, it was hurried and I did not get to put in a backdrop, but it looks better than the stand alone character imo. Hope you guys like it. (find my previous post for a small character bio).

Think I might be squeaking in on the deadline, but after seeing all the great artwork being done, just wanted to join in the fun.
