Turns out I took 1400mg of both Tylenol Extra and Advil in the past 12 hours.
Is that bad?

You should be right, since they're paracetamol and ibuprofen and that's only about 3 tablets each. They don't stack with each other so you shouldn't get poisoning from either. Just don't take any more for another 8 hours or so and you'll be right in the clear.

This one is easy ... First up ... get some Redbull down, several cans (didn't mention your weight, but go 3 to 5 cans). Next go the alcohol, straight vodka if you have it. The increased metabolic rate, plus toxin overload (alcohol & acetaminophen combo) should cause you to pass out, you may get a mild rash and sweat before you do ... but thats just natures way. This should then earn you a free trip to a trained medico who can put you on the right past.

painkillers kill pain. enough of them can kill a human. therefore humans are pain.

Edited by Telec: 5/12/2013 11:25:09 AMWhether or not 1400mg is a problem, I'll leave to you to figure out... What I will tell you is the consequences of acetaminophen overdose. On the first day, you vomit a lot, feel horrible. After about 24 hours you start to feel better, for a day or so. When people decide to commit suicide by acetominophen, this is typically the time when they decide that it's actually worth living... Except it's too late by then. On the third day, your liver and kidneys come under severe attack. You will be in absolute agony. On the fourth day, you will die in a horrible vomiting mess. Unless your stomach is pumped immediately after taking the overdose, then there is no antidote, either. It is simply a question of waiting for your inevitable death. p.s. if you have a medical problem, best bet is to go to an actual doctor

Edited by Milk: 5/12/2013 10:36:24 AMWait, I miss read what you posted. It would appear that 3200mg is the number you shouldn't pass when taking ibuprofen.

Oh yeah, that's Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen for non-murikans.
