Saying the pledge in a different language gets Americans mad at you apparently.

Link above. And specifically the Arabic language. Now, I read in the article that it was alright to say the Pledge in French and Spanish, but many people get butthurt over saying it in Arabic? Opinions on this? For me, it seems silly that some people get mad over it seeing as it was approved to say in French and Spanish and no one cared about it. I'm laughing hard at the 4 tweets saying, "One Nation under Allah". Also, let's add to the end: "With Liberty and Justice for [u]all[/u]."

  • It's only the "Under God" part that makes this an issue, it seems. "Allah" is immediately associated with Islam and Muslims, which is why so many are upset with this.
