I half expected the apocalypse to happen before anyone would see this day... It's almost incomprehensible to anyone below 40, United fan or not, to imagine football without the man.
The biggest surprise for me was how abrupt it was - especially for this relatively meagre season (by United's standards) - even though I'm a Chelski fan, I wouldn't begrudge Fergie a final retirement treble.
Anyway, there go United's next 20 titles.

Yeah, not looking too bad fot 72 as well. Man Utd won't really be the same anymore, apparantly Mourinho could be the next manager, hopefully the Everton guy gets it though. At least he went out on a high note. Preparing for a week of man utd related tv now.
