As in console exclusive like L4D, the Internet would react to this how?
I was tempted to put 'Xbox Nexus' in the title, just to firmly give that name a foothold; is there a chance that MS would name its next console after one of its glorious XBL 'programs'.
-
I do agree it would be -blam!-ing hilarious to see the PC elitists cry, but why?
-
I would laugh as thats implying that it won't run on valve's own program steam, and their own console steam box. There would be too much broken logic to be understandable.
-
I think a lot of people would have a genuine reason to be upset. I would like to see the reaction of the hardcore PC fanboy crowd though. There would be humor in that.
-
Confusion, since Valve's biggest money-making machine is PC based.
-
I don't see the appeal of the series anyway.

Edited by Arbiter 739: 5/7/2013 11:49:14 PMThat just wouldn't happen in Valve's current state.
Posted by: Tartan 118 How well did The Orange Box 360 sell? How well did Portal: Still Alive and Portal 2 360 sell (technically part of HL canon)?
I just don't see your point, sir. Half-Life is only available on PC. (Along with Blue Shift and Opposing Force) The Orange Box is available on PC, X-Box 360, and PS3. Portal 2 is available on PC, X-Box 360, and PS3. It would not be in Valve's best interest to make it a launch title for one of the new major console platforms.

It's not happening, Steam is already on PS3 (kind of) and Gaben hates Windows 8 for no real reason.

Edited by Makeshyft: 5/7/2013 11:37:27 PM
Report: Half-Life 3 a next-gen Xbox exclusive
Dismissed at HL:3. That game doesn't and will never exist. Valve's too busy getting squashed by Riot.
-
lol absolutely zero chance that would ever happen. Xbox gamers by and large don't care about Half-Life, and Valve would never release a game that didn't also come out on its Steam platform.
-
No one would believe it because its no secret that Valve hates Microsoft for releasing Windows 8.
-
Everybody would rage and say that the gaming industry is dead.
-
It wouldn't ever happen though, naturally. Steam IS Valve, and they'd never let their own IP fall into console-only hands.

Won't happen. /thread
