The only reason this sounds believable is because Microsoft knows they need a game to sell the console at launch. The made a huge mistake with the 360's launch and it had a lot to do with the quality and number of games available.

If this is true then I'll call it now; Reviewers will think its good except for a few reviewers who actually have some journalistic integrity and call it mediocre, we as players think its good the instant we play it but that quickly falls away as we realise that once again 343i have cashed in on the reputation that someone else built. tldr; this is a shit idea.
