Give us the ability to be the last of something.
I don't know about you guys, but I thought that was a major appeal to the original Halo trilogy. Being that last Spartan gave us the sense of the last, and only, line of defense. That we're the best humanity has to offer. 343i sort of killed that in 4 with everybody basically being a walking death sentence, maybe the Guardians have special abilities that actually give them reason to be humanity and the City's last line of defense, perhaps Guardian's can only wield the Traveler's power. Either way, being the last Spartan was freaking awesome and I hope a feeling like that conveys to Destiny. What do you think will be done to make us feel exclusive in this world?

Since the big difference from Halo to Destiny is that instead of playing one character we will be many, making each player feel special is a daunting task. I really hope that humanity is really struggling to stay alive and that the enemies are ruthless in wiping us out. I want it to be bleak but with a glimmer of hope so that every achievement we accomplish has meaning.
