A Slayer/Team Death Match Mode? Yes. Capture the Flag Type? Yes. A Search and Destroy without the bomb? (Basically just everyone has one life per round) Yes. Grifball? No.

Griffball is Halo my friend. Not Destiny. Bungie made it very apparent that they do not want Destiny to be like Halo, and they want their fans to know it.
-
Game mode was fun but hell to the NO! It's Destiny not Halo.
-
Grifball won't be in Destiny. That's a pretty exclusively Halo thing. That doesn't mean Bungie won't create some equivalent sport gamemode though. It really depends on what custom game options exist in Destiny.

Edited by Dragonfire: 4/30/2013 12:39:59 AMSounds pretty fun. But maybe something new. I would like to see something like pike soccer (football).

hopefully grifball disappears from the face of the earth, never to be seen again

-
Hell no.

It was and still is a fun game mode you can do on Halo, but keep in mind that Bungie is starting over 100%, they said repeatedly no halo easter eggs, no master chief of any other halo character, accept maybe the smallest gesture nothing about halo will is likely to make the cut. They're starting over again completely, and so I highly doubt Bungie will be holding on to grifball in their newest era of game making. But hey, only speculation

Edited by RAIN Angels: 4/30/2013 4:47:44 AMAs BenjaFriend said, Destiny's purpose is to NOT be Halo. Therefore something as epic as Grifball should not and will not reappear in game. But maybe Bungie can come up with something new and equally awesome? Bounty hunting anyone? (<-- bad idea)

Grifball is part of what made Halo so unique, and it'd be kind of a cop-out to reuse it in their new IP because of it's past success. I'd prefer Bungie just provide us with the creative tools they've given us in the past, so we as a community can make something new and unique to Destiny.
-
hell yes!! you know those guys are going to do SOMETHING in Destiny. hell, ANYONE can do something like that in Destiny.
-
There is going to be something new. Grif is a character from Red vs. Blue and probably won't be in Destiny, therefore we will possibly get a new game.
