If the polar ice caps melted, we'd only lose tiny parts of the world. I'd bet no one really lives in those places anyways? Anyone else agree?

The polar icecaps melting would not do anything to sea levels, the weight is already displaced. Even if temperatures increased it would only increase evaporation over the oceans and increase precipitation over the ice caps, in fact, making them larger. Climate change is a natural occurrence, you're simply giving humanity too much credit if you think we're a threat to this planet.
