What if, now bare with me on this. What if when we watched a movie in a theater, there were quicktime events that required us to push a little button on the side of the seat to see what happens next? It's a great way to incorporate skill into a movie-going experience!

Edited by DarkSpyda04: 4/26/2013 5:51:47 PMI was sure this'd get alot more popularity considering the title. If it wasn't obvious from the main post, I was being sarcastic; it's a terrible idea for a good number of reasons. See, my point is that QTE's pocess little depth as a game mechanic and are essentially equivilant to pressing 'A' to continue watching movie and end up being the lazy way out of otherwise inventing new and innovative gameplay mechanics. This thread was created more in part of complaining about QTE's than it was of discussing the idea of implementing them into movies which again would be horrible.
