me: this is just common sense! WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO TEACH 10th GRADERS COMMON SENSE?!?!
i just feel like... so m any things that i learn in highschool... wont even matter when i try to get a job...

The primary purpose of public education is (or at least should be) to teach students how to think. We mix that in with science, math, etc to fulfill a secondary purpose, which is to equip students with the knowledge needed to do jobs.
