Or the Waypoint forums for that matter?
While I don't use the forums often, I had no problems when I did use them. The stat tracking works and has a clean look to it. The avatars are a bit dull, though.
As for 343, I'd say Halo 4 is a pretty good game. It definitely had more cons than previously Halo games(Forge makes me sad), but it is still a fun game to play. I would also like to add that I made a Flood map and found out you can't have weapons spawn in Flood. So, other than a crappy forge and no Infection, Halo 4 is great in my eyes.
Halo: Anniversary and its graphic switch option is one of the coolest things I've seen in a remake.
I enjoyed Forward Unto Dawn.
I am sure I will enjoy Halo 5.
What did they do to upset you?
Edit: I didn't know that I could vote on my own poll and so I clicked on the 3rd option.

How do all of you feel now that they're bringing Halo's core element back? Still crying? This thread is the Hurricane Catrina of Tears.
-
I actually think they did a pretty good job with Halo 4... The problem I have with them revolves around multiplayer design. I loved the campaign and hope they continue to give Halo outstanding visuals and cinematics.
-
Bungie > 343 Industries Halos before Halo 4 > Halo 4
-
Why can't I pick two options?!
-
I do just play Halo: Reach, im really lookin for Destiny.. Halo 4: i can better play 5 hours outside then play 1 hour Halo 4 im soo bored of that game.. Lol

Does anyone remember when that kid asked a panel of 343 employees why they didn't do a new version of Blood Gulch in Halo 4? And he asked why they made a remake of a remake instead? The answer he got was "I can tell you from personal experience, Halo 3 did not have a Blood Gulch either". That pretty much sums up the level of intelligence I see in 343. I think it may have actually been a RoosterTeeth employee who said that, but still. What the heck did he think Valhalla was, if not a variation on Blood Gulch? Just...facepalm.

The Good: - The Forerunner Saga (Silentium in particular has toppled Hyperion as my all-time favourite sci-fi novel) - Halo Evolutions - Halo Waypoint - Halo 4's campaign (specifically: story, music, character development and visuals) - Forward Unto Dawn - Combat Evolved Anniversary - Forge Island - Spartan Ops Episodes 6-10 - DLC map packs (I really like the Majestic and Castle packs, Crimson can suck a -blam!- though) The Bad: - "Evolution" of Halo's gameplay (minus sprint as a natural feature) - Most of Halo 4's armour (though there are a fair few pieces I do like) - Weapon balancing (at least the Bulletin pointed to an update for precision weapons and vehicles "soon") - Implementation of the music in the campaign (the music is so -blam!-ing good, but you can barely hear it) - CSR (really, what's the point if it's not going to show up in the game?) - Removal of vital Custom Games options (Infection especially is unacceptable) - Removal of Forge features like precision editing and zooming - Promethean and Covenant AI in campaign - 'Return to battlefield, you cum-guzzling semen demon, for trying to leave the map. This isn't Halo 2, you know?!' - Removal of Firefight (though, the way I see it, FF will never be good unless it bitch-slaps you into working as a team like in ODST). The Ugly: - Glasslands - Halo Encyclopedia (not done by 343, but it is linked to their name. Not only did Tobias Buckell get a lot of things wrong, most of it it copied from Halopedia) - Everything following the first 33 minutes of the GDC panel That's all I've got right now. To put it basically, for me, the stuff they do well, they do really well while the stuff that they don't do so well falls flat on its face. I definitely think that people are overly zealous and melodramatic in their 'hate' though, they know deep down that once Halo 5 comes out they'll be saying that "Halo 4 was so much better" and so on - as the pattern has been ever since Halo 2...
-
I lost a lot of respect for them at GDC, but I still liked Halo 4, so I'll see how they do with 5.
-
BS Angel is a detriment to gaming.

I don't hate 343 studios, but I don't particularly like them either. I think they did an amazing job in the story telling department but only an ok job on implementing it to gameplay. Now multiplayer on the other hand, I would say they botched up pretty bad. It really does feel a lot like a cod clone. Custom games aren't much better because they took out too much of the customization that made it so good. I am really hoping that the next halo game the bring back more of the original halo and halo2 multiplayer gameplay. Besides that I think 343 is doing, at least right now, a decent job.
-
343 is ok, why does everyone hate them? Is it cause they're not Bungie? I know their servers are bad but halo 4 was good. 343 aren't bad they are just different please give them a chance! They only made one game
-
Yea I don't like them but they aren't the worst, Capcom still holds that title.
-
Also, i too hope that Halo 5 will be better
-
They cant fill Bungie's shoes. Im not saying they're suppose to but if they are the new handlers of Halo then they have to.
-
-
They're hated cause they aren't bungie and so they didn't make a halo clone for new story.
-
I had hope for them. Then Halo 4 came out and thats all she wrote. They can go bankrupt for all I care.
-
I did like the work they did with CE, other than that - nope.
-
I love 343 which is the only reason I am getting the Xbox one
-
They should not have killed off cortana that's what pissed me off and made me hate 343i even more
-
I used to like them, now I don't.
-
Like children, they broke everything.
-
They're learning.
What did they do to upset you?
I would throw away ALL my beef with Halo 4 and say 343i is actually a somewhat okay developer if they would just give me my damn 8v8 Objective playlist. And include Dominion with it as well. Not to mention I wasn't very happy about the story of Master Chief continuing but everyone says I'm full of shit over my opinion of Halo 3 ending being almost perfect. Halo 4 just falls flat on its face and 343i doesn't seem to admit it did. Why couldn't we have both Spartan Ops AND Firefight? The Forge maps aren't all that great, Theater is almost useless, and the playlists are just plain bad. I want a real 1-50 Ranking system, not some Waypoint hybrid. FF should be turned back on. I'm not saying its bad (well, I'm saying the playlists are bad), but Halo 4 isn't the Halo I enjoy playing is all.

They changed Halos core mp. That's my biggest beef.
