**Going to PAX!? Sound off!
PAX Prime 2013 is fast approaching. Badges are already gone, and now all that's left is the hectic chaos of planning before the party. Whether you're a grizzled PAX elder, a first time novice, or even unable to attend, take periodic peeks at this thread for information and events you might benefit from.
When: August 30th through September 2nd
Badges All badges for all four days are sold out. At this point your only way to get a badge will be to find someone selling theirs or extras. Please keep in mind that there are people who fake badges and the Enforcers at PAX are great at catching fakes. Be weary of who you buy from, because if you do end up purchasing a fake, you will not be allowed into PAX.

Travel & Hotel Info: For all of your hotel info, I suggest you take a look at Penny Arcade's Hotel Booking thread and their Hotel Room Share thread. If you're looking to bunk specifically with other Bnet members, feel free to give a shout out in this thread, or in the PAX 2013 group, we have a room request thread.
Anyone flying in, I've heard of Cheap Flights being suggested in the past, but your best bet for the lowest rates would be to look around yourself and do some research.
Once you've made it to Washington the hard part is done. There are several option to commute from Sea-Tac airport to the downtown Seattle area, including bus and our Sound Transit Rail. And of course, taxis are always an option. If there are enough people interested and arriving at a similar time, I can drive to Sea-Tac and take you to downtown for the cost of gas. The last option is a maybe.
If you have any other questions about travel or hotels, or general Seattle information, feel free to post in this thread or PM myself. I know there are also other users from Seattle who will be attending PAX, and will most likely be thrilled to help you out as well.
Community S7uff: As with last year, I'll be looking to set up some events for community members attending PAX. Last year we managed t-shirts and wristband thanks to Biwald, a few get togethers, and dinner. As for this year, I plan on trying to get a bit more set up again, but only time will tell in regards to how much we actually manage to set up. To stay completely up to date on the planned events, and to pitch your own ideas, I strongly suggest visiting the PAX 2013 group.
Just as with last year, I'll be looking for ways to include as many community members in the festivities as we can. Badges sold out in a record six hours, so it's obvious that not everyone who wanted is going to make it. to try and make you feel as included as can, I know a good few users including myself will be updating our twitter feeds with pictures and comments, and PAX itself has live streams of many of the panels. I might throw in a few contests/give-aways as well, but I don't want to promise anything yet.
Stay tuned!

Out of pure luck, I managed to snag 3 single day passes (Friday, Sunday, Monday). I'll be looking forward to this year's PAX. Now I actually have months to be pumped for this. Last year, I was only able to come because somebody sold me one of their extras last minute (<3 Revan). This year is also looking pretty good considering all of the big titles coming out this Fall (GTA V, Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4, etc.). I hope they have at least some of them available to play at PAX.
