Thoughts and prayers for those affected by the Boston bombings, but it really shows how ignorant we are to what is going on in the rest of the world. Literally, I heard nothing about this in the news and decided to google "iraq car bomb" to see how many people had been killed by them there, and bam, that shows up.

Those are common in Iraq, sad to say but it's true.

I knew people would get butthurt over the "thoughts and prayers" thing. The whole reason I put thoughts was to cater to atheists and the whole reason I put prayers was to cater to theists. Dang it.
-
It's a bit presumptuous to call others ignorant just because you haven't heard of something. This is on the front page of the Middle East column of WSJ, so I wouldn't exactly say nobody is paying attention.
-
Keep this in mind, which one is out of the ordinary?
-
One is clearly more relevant and significant to us than the other.
-
what kind of edgy phaggot do you thinki do you are Speaking of which, went on /b/ for the first tim in a while to see some edgy autists praise the bomber and god they piss me off. Would literally spear the sht out of them
-
What about it? Would you like us to do something about it?

Edited by Bolt: 4/16/2013 2:42:01 AMOn average, 155,000 people die in a day. The human race would be overcome with despair if they attempted to comprehend each and every death every day. Either that, or really jaded.

My thoughts and prayers went out to them as well as soon as I heard about the incidents over there.

Remember to respond to every "Thoughts and prayers," post on Facebook with this to make lots of friends.

They're not American though, so who cares. /sarcasm
