On the subject of Xbox for the next generation, the article also touches on how Microsoft "is too smart" to restrict their console to "always online". I imagine that this theory will be busted at this conference but we don't actually have official confirmation of the "Xbox 720" being announced (but it more than likely will be).
Also from the article
This week we'll also be providing a first look at two new games - which I believe we're not allowed to mention just now. You'll find out soon enough.
- It's most likely that these games are unrelated to next generation talk for this week.
May 21st is the big date to look forward too. Also, Bungie was at Sony's conference back in February for the PS4 (unannounced). If the 720 is announced, I wonder if Bungie has plans to be there for Destiny as well. Only time will tell.

Why did the OP edit the post in November?

I come from the future - E3 sucked for Microsoft
-
/Marks the 21st on calendar.
-
I doubt Bungie will show up for the 720.. And I wouldn't blame them either.
-
I hope destiny gets another little trailer at it assuming of course its the reveal for the nextbox
-
If the press conference isn't to reveal their next console I don't see what else it could be.
-
I'd be surprised if Microsoft waited until E3 to announce the 720 when they are have a press conference before then. It seems logical that they will use E3 to show off the launch titles.

Finally some news, even if it is just rumours confirming rumours denying previous rumours. Which it isn't.

I am also wondering if Bungie will be there or not as well... There hasn't been any talk about Destiny for the next-gen xbox, but then again that xbox hasn't been announced yet either. If Destiny does come out for the next-gen xbox then I am for sure buying one, but if not I will definitely wait another year until the price goes down... I am also praying that they do not call it "xbox 720".
