Recently my friend and I got into a bit of an argument. She refuses to let me help her with something because she prefers being solo. Even though I am invading the privacy of her life, I feel as if because we are both human, I have the right to help her. Basically, I think that humans are dependent on each other while she seems to to think humans are capable of total independence.

I don't quite understand your logic. What, exactly, about the fact that humans generally benefit from societal interaction gives you the right to invade the privacy of others?
