Think about it. By definition, nature is a god. Nature created us and all living things, it guided and helped us, and it provides us with what we need to thrive. And the best part about nature is that we can prove it exists! I'm not saying we should all start dancing naked in the forest, chanting hymns to Mother Nature. I'm just wondering why people decided to worship these strange gods that we can't see or contact, when we had a "god" that we [i]can[/i] see and contact right in front of us.

I do that. It is called pantheism and it is the belief that religion and holy books are poetic synonyms for the universe and nature. :)

All religions either worship the various aspects of nature, or the being who created nature itself, so people kind of do worship it in that way
