Flood i need your help urgently!
I have 300 dollars to spend and i want to by great headphones. Though i will not buy a headphone amp for it.
WHAT ARE SOME GOOD HEADPHONES THAT DONT NEED A HEADPHONE AMP?!?!
Im thinking about HD558's but im not sure. Will they sound good with my pc or ipod?

Unless you're into music production, don't spend that much on headphones. Hell, im a music production major and i only spent $100 on mine. You can get GREAT headphones for $100. I have HD 280 pros and theyre excellent. If you just want headphones for music, you'd be better off spending $100 on headphones and $200 on new music.

4 Repliesthe sennheiser 558 are good headphones for that price. you could look at the Focal Spirit One if you want a different style. Personally i would by the sennheiser. DON'T buy Beats or crap like that, they are totally overpriced

Kinda depends. I have a pair of HDJ 2000's for mr personal adventures with music. I have a pair of Turtle Beach PX5's for all my gaming and suround sound needs. And last but not least, a pair of Skull Candy $50 bass typed ear buds for those late night bass feelings.
