New clues to the exo! And start of the game theory!

I'm sorry if this is old news, but I think it's confirmed, the Exo is a race of Ancient Reanimated Robots. Dug up to help the peon fleshies from going out of existence. I hope we have a different opening cinimatic/tutorial level based on the race you pick.
Like if you pick Exo, it shows you being dug up in some sort of excavation. If you're Human then it shows you at a excavation site digging up an...EXO! And if you're an Awoken you bust out of one of the coffins (like a vampire) in an excavation site in which a human is digging up an Exo! BOOM you just made three new friends, something crazy happens and you three are now helping eachother fight off some Vex!

2 RepliesI don't like the idea that Exos are completely robots, it wouldn't feel as if the Exos were a part of humanity, instead a tool. From what I seen Exos seem to have the ability to convey emotion. If you look at the picture of the Exo he/she seems sad, perhaps a fellow Guardian died. I speculate that the Exo wouldn't be sitting down there because he/she is tired, because they are "tireless warmachines". It wouldn't be probable that the Exo is sitting because of fatigue because of that. He/she probably can convey emotions, something only a living thing can do. This is why I do not think that Exos are fully robots, but cyborgs.

1 ReplyI'm actually betting that there is not a grandiose opening set piece like you kind of described. you are [i][/i]a[i][/i] guardian not [i][/i]the[i][/i] guardian. I'm thinking it will be a subtle opening with maybe a tour of the city and some intro missions you can choose from. It sounds to me like the game is giving less of a master chief angle, going for more "you become a legend by what you choose to do", not by how the game directs you. I also don't think there will be a "three unlikely friends" angle as I am sure that you can play together with three of the same race/class and probably more than just three as well. In that same Idea, you are probably not shoehorned into playing with two other AI characters if you are soloing. I'm actually hoping for a more metroid type story where you learn about the lore through exploration and discovery rather than told through video.

5 RepliesIf you want my full take on the Exo then read my fan fiction "Birth of an Exo" All i will say here is I think the Exo and the Awoken are both born and products of the Traveler. It makes sense that then they can be different and separate from "Humans" but still be on their side fully and completely.

Uh dude he said Exo Warlock which already stated he uses magic. That does not mean its the same for an Exo hunter or Exo Titan, nor anyone else. It would not be the same for each categories of Race and Class. Like this: Awoken-Hunter. Exo-Hunter. Human-Hunter Awoken-Titan. Exo- Titan. Human- Titan Awoken-Warlock. Exo- Warlock Human- warlock Each one will have different intros. Based on Race and Class.

2 RepliesI agree that they might be Reanimated Robots, but I think all the rest is not going to happen. Especially the cinematic for the Awoken and Humans. If I chose a Human, I'd rather see some dramatic cutscene in which I get armored up and such than me digging a hole.

1 Replythat's cool and all but in my personal opinion the EXO could be survivors of whatever hit earth, But they sustained injuries too severe to live from so made the choice to become EXO (robot\super human body with a human brain and maybe face) or they could have been full human once but volunteered to be enhanced into a super human war machine but the reason all humans didn't volunteer was because the survival rate too low (trouble bonding\linking with the machinelike) 10 in every 100 kind of low. but that's just what I think would be pretty f***ing AWESOME LOL

I'd love to think that he is an ancient human cyborg alive before the earth fell, he is able to weld the travelers power because of his human parts, he is old and tired built for war his final job to protect the last of the human race from the unseen enemy. This is how I see him. I hope I'm some what close to the truth.

We don't know if they're robots, or if they're reanimated. Not trying to be a d**k, but that's really all that sentence tells us. Something like that would be really cool.
