Knife control
We always debate about gun control and the legality of certain types, but what about knives? Nobody ever talks about knife control (except the British). Why is it so hard to get a switchblade? Why is it illegal to carry one? Why can I open or conceal carry a handgun, but I can't walk around with a sword or large dagger?

In Texas you can walk around with knifes as long as they have a length of less than 5.5 inches, so long as It's not a dagger, dirk, stiletto, etc. I've walked around with my Kabar while in town before, and no one really seems to care. Until I get my CHL, I have my Kabar attached to my Disc Golf Bag whenever I play, as some courses aren't in the best neighborhoods, plus it's always good to have an edge available to use. Too bad sword-canes are not allowed =/
