For example if something is mentioned about another country do you ask people to explain it more?
Do you just not care but take in the information anyway?
Or do you want to stay ignorant of the world?

I enjoy hearing about long dead nations, such as ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire. I'm not as interested in modern cultures.

Definitely. But I tend to find history a lot more interesting than whatever's going on in most places right now. The world's getting more boring.

I suppose. I watch Rick Steves' Europe every weekday after watching BBC News. But I'm not sure if I watch it to learn about other countries or if I watch it just to see Rick Steves.
