Sup Column, my friends and I have been thinking about getting into D&D. I looked up where to get it and what to get, but needless to say, there is a LOT of merchandise for it... Board games, miniatures and roleplaying books. I can honestly say, I have NO idea what I'm doing...
Basically, what should I be buying and where are the products available?

The best D&D version currently available is Pathfinder 3.5. It's more in-depth than 4.0 and solves a lot of the problems of 3.0. It's also online for free. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/ Enjoy.

Edited by MR E0S: 4/6/2013 10:11:24 PMLet me save you from yourself. You craving some D&D? Head over to GoG. You craving some time around a poker table? Try some actual poker, or maybe an Axis and Allies board game. But to actually attempt, old school pencil and paper D&D. Get real, this is 2013 not 1985. Playing D&D in that fashion has nothing to offer these days other than making you a target for a hate crime. Seriously, someone see's you walking out of a bookmans with D&D Rulebooks in tow, and your likely to get mugged just for the image you are portraying at that moment. Pretty soon, I'll be seeing your picture on google news. Being the poster child for hate crimes against P&P/D&D'rs. Cause lets face it, if making fun of Goth's and Emo's is a hate crime.... You're just asking for trouble.
