Im still the working class.
as far as I can tell this isn't an official thing but instead something the BBC came up with.
So I wouldn't take this too seriously. According to how the French do it, Britain has never asked the questions in surveys needed to figure out "Class" so the BBC threw something together.

The emergent service worker looks like Demitri Martin.
-
I'm an emergent service worker - but it gets skewed because I'm currently in university, which sort of breaks their wealth algorithms. If I use what my salary will be in 6 months' time, I'm established middle class. My family is elite...
-
They can decide what class I am by the music I listen to!? This is bs
-
Technical working class? IDK. Funny how it decides class on music taste. I clicked all the music boxes.
-
Apparantly i'm Elite. Rubbish if you ask me. It's either all in one factor or the other. "Listen to classical music" - Posh "Go out and rob building" - Liverpool
-
Precariat? :(

Edited by Tartan 118: 4/3/2013 11:16:25 AMTechnical middle class, apparently, but I have no idea about my parents' income, savings, etc.
-
Answering for my family, as I'm only 18, it was Elite.
-
Umm I'm only 17, I have no idea how to answer the first questions, can I skip?
-
I'm a 17 year old Australian and got Traditional Working Class.
-
It said I'm part of the Elite, I don't think it's very accurate. Although I am Tigerman.
-
Edited by RIP delta: 4/3/2013 10:28:38 AMELite, bitches! Though I think that might be less to do with wealth and more to do with the people we know and whatnot. On the graph I have a higher social but lower economic capital than the standard 'Elite' IRL though, Established Middle is where I am
-
New affluent worker.

Edited by Dropship dude: 4/3/2013 10:26:30 AMActually I just re-did the test being more precise with social circles and savings and it turns out I'm in the Elite class. Elite FTW. Makes sense seeing as my Dad's in the Elite class too.
-
Traditional working class.
-
I'm 19 years old, I work but am still living with my parents for the mean-time (I pay "upkeep", not technically rent though). Ignoring that though, I'm an Emergent Service Worker.
-
Traditional working class, apparently.
-
Since i'm only 18 and i'm still in school, I did my families instead. (Sorry if that's cheating or something) ...Got technical middle class.....is that good?
-
Im precariat according to the test...
-
Whoo Traditional Working Class!
