Was absolutely f*king amazing. Well, my opinion may be influenced by my obsession with paleontology and wild Jurassic Park fanboyism, but still- the 3D rendition was fantastic.
3D is done in a very nice, non-explicit way (and by non-explicit I mean it doesn't wave the 3D effect in your face every 30 seconds). As a fan, there were some scenes that I always dreamed of seeing in 3D (Entire Rex scene, Dilophosaurus in general, car falling down tree, MUST GO FASTER, Muldoon getting destroyed, Raptor jumping for Lex, etc.), and while they were pulled off excellently, the best ones were the more wondrous, less... "exciting" ones (ex. Brachiosaurus scenes, sick Triceratops).
And while the movie sells itself on the 3D rendering of the world, I'm pretty sure I would just attend again just to listen to the movie. The sound is just that good.
Well, as a paleontology-crazed man and hyper Jurassic Park fanboy, this movie has given me ~129 minutes of straight orgasm. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend that you do.
PS: Apologies in advance if this doesn't seem up to snuff with the rest of my posts- not only is it midnight here, I also haven't been thinking clearly after watching the movie
