trying to get it to taste spicy (at least 10,000 Scoville units) before cooking it. it's cheap-ish quality sirloin steak.

I guess you could try pulversizing some ghost peppers and spreading them on the steak, though I don't think the taste of ghost pepper would go well with meat.

Edited by HurtfulTurkey: 3/31/2013 3:27:31 AMThe best way to flavor beef is to not buy shitty sirloin. But seriously, salt and pepper, maybe a bit of butter if you're pan cooking it. Avoid steak sauce, or any other sauce. You want beef taste, not chewy sauce.

You can put some rub on it or marinate it in whatever you want. Could try some Worcestershire sauce.
