You guys were asking for footage of Grognok in use and here you go!

I know they have a team of 400 people, but it would be nice if they put out some kind of Grognok Light/Demo. Where the community can create things and they can send it back to Bungie. Eventually some pretty neat stuff should be rolling out!

Build your moon-home, and then assemble your team, and the moon's orbit occurs according to random matchmaking. When you enter the matchmaking arena the enemy moon appears across from yours and you would have to cross space vertically to charge the moon directly above yours. Also there appears to be a severe shortage of moons in our solar system, so what about occupying the asteroid belt instead? It makes more sense to accommodate more players. I hope someone at Bungie reads these things.

Cool.

Wow, if only I could have such an amazing job. Just amazing.
-
They had to make all those assets, but this is really impressive
-
Awesome video of constructing. Wondering how many man-hours this took.
-
My breath was slowly taken away as I saw this footage.

Edited by iGraviton: 4/2/2013 8:40:27 PMI wish. I love creating custom terrain and environments. I'd spend thousands of hours creating stuff if I had a tool like this. But alas, until you either release Grognok to the public or I get a job at Bungie, I'll have to stick with the editor in Far Cry 3 as well as the Unity Engine and CryEngine.

God Bungie makes even the Dev Tools look fun *dribbles* I especially loved the lighting/time lapse tool I could happily sit there and play god lol!
-
I could sit there and do that all day. Awesome job to have at Bungie.
-
Okay that was very cool! That would be a great job! Can't wait for the game (early Christmas).
-
This thing is pretty cool.
-
Awesome
-
oh momma that's some pretty stuff
-
Neat stuff. It's cool how this is all 'in house' stuff too...
-
This is completely off topic, but I'd just like to point out the oddity implied by your screen name and your position on this thread. Grognok looks cool. I hope we have non-prefab building options though.

I have dreams of a place where we will actually be able to create and change this persistent world that is Destiny. Whether or not this is a part of that equation, I have no clue. But a man can dream....
-
Looks like forge fit for the God(s) of whatever you believe in.
-
So were gonna have maps? what about planets?
-
Edited by Spartan Ken 15: 3/29/2013 9:05:20 PMI don't think this will be for the community.
-
I really want to use this, I have some experience with world creating from using cry engine 3 and look forward to seeing more of this in action.
-
It reminds me a lot of Z-brush or Mudbox and they took Forge and made it into a single program.
-
It'd be awesome if they released it like a creation kit from Bethesda games, and let us upload it to our consoles or transfer it via USB.
-
The tool looks very user friendly. Not sure if that means anything for us or just good tool design internally.
-
It would be awesome if we could create custom maps on pc then send them to our console. Only if Bungie plans on making a world-creating community tool like Cryengine or UDK.
