For my actionscript project, I decided to make a game of thrones/asoiaf based game. You play as Jon Snow (one of the characters in the series), as he fights off enemies. The gameplay is incredibly basic, the art is pretty shitty, and it gets repetitive, but I still had fun making it. Hell, I didn't even fully complete it, but the other things were just extras that I didn't really need (achievements and a backstory journal) to get a good mark.
So, yeah. If you want to check it out, a link is here. Just a side note, the dimensions the player on that website are actually larger than the dimensions within Flash CS4, so that's why the menu has green above it, and trees on the top take up so much space. Also why you can see enemies come from under the UI in the actual game.
I also originally had this song playing in the background, but I'm pretty sure it would have gotten taken down if I put it on the website. So play that if you want the full experience.
I realize this is sorta advertising, but I just wanted to share it. The game itself is pretty bad, but it was the first thing I've actually made that I enjoyed.
So this isn't all about me, do you enjoy programming, and have you made anything that you'd be willing to share?
