Fire Congress. Confiscate their wages, their pensions and their benefits. All of them. At the same time. If we try to piecemeal it, the current ones will just infect the newer ones. It's clear to me that they are not serving their constituents but rather serving whatever unions, businesses or lobbyists pay for their vote. How many more times do we have to have our credit rating degraded because both sides refuse to cooperate on what NEEDS to be done while ignoring the will of the people? How lower does the approval rating have to go? It's already in the single digits last I heard. How much more do we need to hear about X looming on the horizon only for both parties in Congress to dig their trenches and just lob whatever twisted statistics and quotes taken out of context at the other party before going on a week long vacation? How much more out of touch do they need to be with the average American? They are clearly failing at their job. We need to do what any sane person running a business would do: Fire them.
