So the plight of rick grimes isnt one of interest?? Daryl yea is a "badass" but im not looking for someone who can just kill the most zombies. Rick the obvious "good guy" had to learn that the codes he stood by in the real world (being a PO, helping people and all that jazz) dont really matter as much. Rick has really went through a roller coaster throughout the seasons. From him being alone (low) to finding that black guy (high) to finding the group (high) but finding out his best friend is the father AND finding the barn (high-low) Shane trying to kill him but instead him killing shane the barn being overrun and him having the general distrust of the group. (low-low-lower-hell) Finding the prison and taking it (high) Loosing his wife(Spiraling! Spiraling! Spiraling!) Then the Governor (equalizer to whatever hes going through. It honestly holds him where he is at neither good nor bad till it proves in the next episodes. ) Daryl is an important member but he doesn't make the group go.With the rise of Glenn of an actual character with balls and carl not always leaving the house and getting lost it makes Daryls worth a bit less. Everyone just likes to vote for the badass good guy. Instead of the person who has face the most adversity.
