Anyone here into graphic design or digital illustration?
I've spent weeks searching the internet for a high-end Tablet PC to no avail. I was initially going to invest in just a pen-to-display monitor like the Wacom Cintiq or its alternatives, but I figured I'd invest in a more portable Tablet PC for that price. So with that in mind, I'm looking for one with the following specs:
• At least 64GB of hard drive space. If I can expand that, it'd be super.
• At least 2GB-4GB of RAM - also preferably expandable.
• At least 4 hours of battery life. A removable one is nice.
• Able to run Windows 7 (I can settle for Windows 8 but half my programs wont work yet).
• Preferably 11 inch display and above.
• Pen Stylus with Wacom Digitizer and at least 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity (I can settle for 255 levels if the other points are met). Multi-Touch display would be nice but the stylus is the priority, and by extension the most important aspect.
I looked into the Asus EP121, Asus Transformer Infinity and the Motion Computing E1700, but I'd really like to consider all my alternatives first. I've also looked into the Samsung Slate 7 and Microsoft Surface Pro. I'd prefer a full OS over android, but if it can run decent sketching programs I'll take it. I prefer not to spend more than $1,500 USD, but if please share any links regardless.
Thanks in advanced.

Just realized I might have a much more flexible budget due to financial aid.

Why a tablet?

Hmm....... I'd really recommend a dedicated Wacom over a tablet PC for graphic design. Cintiq displays are amazing..... but you can do just as well with an Intuous tablet and then sink the rest of your cash into a beast machine with solid state drive, lots of ram, decent graphics and a really decent display. One thing for sure; 4GB is way too low for any serious heavy lifting. If you're running a 6000x6000 photoshop file and running your tablet it will struggle badly. I know this sounds a bit nuts but aim for no less than 16GB of RAM and then you can just forget about memory from here on out.

Well, you can count OSX out, there is no Apple tablet computer.

Have you looked at the XPS 12 or Lenovo Yoga?
