At the door is Paul's decorator. He opens the door and it seems that she is in a flustered state. Paul asks her what's wrong, and she tells him it's probably nothing, but she saw a man standing outside the apartment complex since the previous afternoon and she was worried that the man might have been sent by her husband to watch them. As she looks out the window, the man is indeed still there, looking up at the apartments. When Paul sees the man for himself, he decides that he will go out there and deal with the situation even though the decorator insists that he will only make matters worse. Against her protests though, Paul leaves the apartment to confront the suspicious man outside.

After an unknown amount of time, we come to see Paul working at his typewriter, working on a story entitled "My Friend" when the gentle strumming of a guitar is heard.

As the whistle blows signaling visiting hours are over, Sally reminds Paul that he need to send the book to a publishers office and gives Holly a kiss goodbye. Before leaving though, she remembers to ask Sally for the weather report to give to Sally's close, personal lawyer. He tells here that there are snow flurries expected in New Orleans this weekend. And though she thinks it's odd, she accepts the report and her and Paul leave Sing Sing.

Edited by M1Silencer: 1/11/2015 6:22:53 AMAs the days go on, Holly and Paul get closer, and he accompanies her on a trip to Sing Sing prison where Holly meets with Sally Tomato, an alleged mob boss put in prison for tax fraud. For Holly, he acts as an accountant and instructs her on how to handle her finances and what she should do to save the little money that she has. On this particular visit to Sing Sing though, Holly also shows Sally Tomato Paul's manuscript for his newest novel, and he tells Paul to turn it into a novel, "Someday, Mister Fred, you take this book, turn it into a novel. Everything is there. Just fill in the details." As Holly remarks that it would surely make for some good laughs, Sally says to her, "No. No I don't think so. This is a book would break the heart."
