Long story short I've been in and out of school since sixth grade. I went into homeschooling and just kind of stopped paying attention. Now I'm fairly certain I'm not getting my HS diploma so I'm going for a G.E.D. The problem is as I said I haven't paid attention since sixth grade.
So my question is, where should I start? Are there any free sites that I can go on to study? Or any books that I can read to get back on track? I also plan on going to community college after I get the G.E.D if that matters.

Khan Academy.

How much does it cost to take the G.E.D. test?

Edited by VerticalGradient: 3/18/2013 1:43:22 AMI have no idea what the GED test(s) is like, so (assuming you're unsure as well), I'd start there if it were me - finding out what you need to know. After that, there's plenty of good help on the internet for many subjects. Math, for instance -- you could find a nicely-received textbook on amazon or something, or watch Khanacademy/PatrickJMT videos on YouTube. Refresh with the basics (be it maths, English/grammar/writing, science), then move at your own pace. I'd assume that there's an emphasis on reading and writing skills, as well as math skills.
