Really, this game exceeds a lot in many terms.
- Constant day and night cycle
- Weather
- Huge environment that requires no loading
- Fun physics
And a whole lot more.
What do you think of Just Cause 2?

I'll praise this game very highly for having a HUGE environment to explore and a brilliantly intuitive yet completely unique parachute-and-zip-line mobility mechanic... but other than that, it's kind of an empty game. The campaign has its high points, and blowing things up is devilishly fun (especially with such lovely graphics) but the game really needed some side-missions. I know the whole game is really modular where it lets you kind of do whatever missions you want to in the campaign to advance the plot, but they needed some missions that were completely separate from that, if you ask me. I also would have appreciated some sort of multi-player or co-op features, and maybe the ability to customize the look of your character or the length of your zip-line or something like that. You can only blow up random fuel tanks in a rural neighborhood and hijack aircraft at a military port so many times before you long for some greater purpose other than just dicking around. I still think Just Cause 2 is a spectacular game, but it doesn't achieve the true greatness of other sandbox games like Skyrim or Spider-Man 2.
