I just finished the Hobbit movie.
I thought it was great. Not as epic as the first LOTR though, but still a great movie.
I do have a question, why didn't the elves help the dwarves fight off the dragon? I'm sure there's more to it than the elves "Not wanting to lose kin'".

*strokes beard of wisdom* Yeah... Elves are quite proud and see Dwarves as foolish people. They believe themselves to be above all the other peoples of Middle Earth. In their opinion, the Dwarves got what they got and it was their problem.
