US President Barack Obama has told an Israeli television channel it would take Iran "over a year or so" to develop a nuclear weapon.
In an interview with Channel 2 he said he did not want to "cut it too close" and declined to rule out the possibility of military action.
So in 1 war we could be at war with Iran, anybody here joining the military this year or the next? How do you feel about this?

I have lots of friends in the military. I just hope we support Israel no matter what, because then we'll never lose.
-
I'm enlisting next year. It's whatever. It's not like I can control it. I will say I'd rather be in Iran than Korea though.

No where in there does it indicate the US is looking for war. In fact I'd argue the opposite because we've recently stated that we don't want to put boots on the ground in another theater for at least another 20 years. If we went to war with Iran it wouldn't be because we wanted to it would be because we had to. That's not looking for war.

Edited by Dustin: 3/15/2013 5:03:34 PMThere WILL be a strike on Iran's nuclear facilities in the coming months to prevent the chance of Iran launching a nuclear missile at Israel. Whether Iran will attempt to invade Israel (via Syria) is the key to whether this will cause a war or not.

No where in there does it state were looking for war, give me a freaking break Paul. Yeah Israel maybe becasue it is a direct threat to them, and in turn we would get involved, but we are not looking for war their... Also i am going into the military and i acknowledge the fact it might be in Iran in the future.

When are we not looking for war?

Edited by HurtfulTurkey: 3/15/2013 3:44:50 PMWhere are you getting the idea that Israel and the US are looking for war? That seemed like a pretty standard response from the government. But if not, I continue to keep all options on the table."
