The use of anthropomorphic animals, Chinese trappings, kung fu, and a fat, dumb, comical protagonist? These are such broad concepts that they aren't covered by any sort of patent protection. On a side note: I started seeing these cheap knock off videos of popular titles in RedBox a while back.
