I wouldn't blame CoD, I would blame the other developers who are afraid to create innovative games. People who blame CoD kind of irritate me because the real criminals here are all the uncreative developers, CoD still gets crazy sales, but haven't you noticed that all these CoD clones get terrible reviews, and in my opinion are quite crappy? When CoD was created, they made something unique, and stuck with that formula because it was successful. These other developers just want to ride on their success and create terrible clones.
