Sadly for PC gamers the world around, there is currently no news that a PC version of Destiny will be created. This means that PC gamers like myself are far less likely to fork out for an inferior console just to play Destiny. However, perhaps there is a solution. I believe I have the answer.
What addition to a great PC game has millions of players coming back for more?
What new social aspect of a popular game keeps players more entertained than gameplay by itself?
What great economy has boomed through this creation?
The answer, my friends, is hats.
I therefore put forward to you, Bungie, a unique (well, maybe not entirely unique) niche which will encourage PC gamers like myself to fork out the extra dough for such a blantantly technologically deprived platform. Imagine it: a world we build, only...
WITH HATS.

OP is a fag. Also on topic,no, definitely NO hats in destiny.Hats -blam!-ing ruined the TF2 spirit (like the video suggests).
-
I'll gladly admit consoles have inferior capabilities, but they are also much less expensive and take less work to keep maintained.

I spit my coke out when I read the last tag #occupyuranus

Edited by A3LeggedBurrito: 3/11/2013 11:50:29 PMStep 1: Make the game available for PC.
-
I have found your answer.

Support for Window, Mac, and Linux through Steam would be amazing.

Edited by XiYen: 3/12/2013 6:12:35 AMSo, TF2, in space? I can dig it.
-
That is going to have to be a no. I'd be all for Destiny on PC, but it'd have to be highly moddable, not hattable
-
Skins Skins Skins Skins and Hats are cool too
-
This is the only way I'm going to buy your game Bungie. Put the hats in or you don't get my money.
-
I'd love to see Destiny for PC but as a gamer of dual nationalities (I have an xbox as well) I wouldn't mind either way, but at the same time my PC is a beast so I'd prefer to have it on PC. I also understand bungies hesitance towards PC as there audience (the Halo peps) are, for the most part, console gamers.

inb4 console kiddies raging
-
That would be hilarious to see in the game, similar to Borderlands

I tip my hat to you, sir, and proceed to purchase a new hat as I now no longer have one.

Edited by Sunscreeen: 3/11/2013 2:26:47 PMand here i thought my destiny would be serious. i don't agree with you, but i see where you're coming from. E: also:
fork out for an inferior console
this is insulting

I was nearly crying with laughter when I opened the image you posted. As a PC gamer I appreciate the nod towards the game we all obviously play every waking second of our lives. I mean, Team Fortress 2 is clearly the only game for the PC. The image above is for everyone else in this thread.

I demand exorbitantly costly Pike skins.
-
Throw in a Personable Dog with those hats and we got Fable in Space.
-
... its beautiful

I think you'll find that they'll release Destiny on PC - BUT will maximize profits by catering for the Console gamers first as there is more money to be made for each console title sold vs pc title. That way console gamers would already have they're teeth sunk into the console version and less likely to leave to play on the PC. Not only that the can ramp up the PC version a bit to make it appealing as it will be a couple of years behind the Console by the time it comes out. Thats my idea anyway.
-
Nope capes but good idea.
-
I don't know if I should take you seriously or not. I mean, INFERIOR console? that has to be a joke.
-
inferior console
LOL Graphix = good gaming.

I feel slightly offended.
