It is by far the most complex game I have ever tried to play. As a noob to the game I really have no idea where to start. Are there any general strategies? Should I design blueprints for ships before hand or do it on the fly as I upgrade things? Do I colonize like crazy at the beginning of the game or build up a big fleet before moving out? What is even considered a big fleet considering that the maps can be thousands of systems large? So many questions, any advice would be appreciated. I'll also be perusing the games forums from their site.
