Hey guys,
What's your opinion on this? My friend (in this video) went through gastroparesis where no modern medicine could cure it; however, alternative treatments and remedies seemed to relieve her of this severe condition.
I personally thought that any medicine that couldn't really be backed up by scientific experiments/reasoning was bullshit..... But now my opinion is changing....

You know what they call an herbal, eastern, unorthodox, unexpected, or previously unsupported treatment that has been reliably and conclusively tested and proven to work? Medicine. Not alternative, not natural, not anything but... medicine. OMG, this mold kills bacteria! That's crazy! Wait a minute, after we study it, it reliably and consistently works in controlled and double-blind testing. Well, that means we should use it. It's why leeches are still a valid therapy in certain circumstances and I've watch maggots be used for wound debridement. If it works consistently and reproducibly for a known and document-able reason, that is medicine. No matter what they are doing, whether it is applying aloe vera or injecting radio-isotopes into a cancerous tumor. ALL medicine.
