What was your reaction when you first heard that in Halo 4
-
I laughed. Hard. It just came so far out of left field. I was sitting there thinking, "Really? That's the take of this line you decided to go with?" It's basically like a kid throwing a tantrum. "I want him arrested right now! Now now NOOOOW!" Speaking of which, yeah, let's just suggest to the crew arresting the man who saved the entire human race from two massive alien threats damn near single handed.

Horribly written as with the rest of Halo 4. He was a pointless character built to fail in order to create a conflict.
-
Give me that chip...
-
You may strategically place your wonderful lips onto my posterior and kiss it repeatedly

I wanted Chief to say, "Try to take it from me." It was really intense, I loved that scene.
-
My dear boy Chief has finally broken out of the rules the UNSC imposed on him. And Halo finally has epic dramatic tension moments in the game.
-
"...Do you feel in charge?"
-
It was pure melo-drama and was unnecessary.

Forced melodrama.

Even though Del Rio made sense because of the safety of the ship and its crew, Chief had to disobey orders. If he didn't, The Didact would have composed Earth and wiped out humanity.
-
I found it hilarious that Del Rio thought that he had any power in that situation.
-
Didn't think anything of it. Del Rio was actually making sense as far as protocol goes, and he was acting in the interest of his ship and crew. It was also obvious he felt threatened by the Chief's presence. Made sense he'd get pissed.
-
I was half expecting The Chief to put the guy's head through the scanner.
-
I was like "no."
-
I was all like ''Relax. I'd rather not piss that thing off.''
-
It was fantastic. Great acting and writing, as per the rest of H4. Very shocking display from del Rio.
-
It's a shame Palmer didn't go for the Chief, she would have been a better Spartan Ops character with an Assault Rifle permanently wrapped around her forehead.
-
I laughed my ass off. He's the commander of the biggest ship in the UNSC fleet and hes throwing a fit? Screw Del Rio. They should have made Lord Hood the captain of the Infinity. Although he might have been too old for it.
-
No sir.
-
Then Master Chiefs like biiiiiiitchhh please.
-
"Shit's goin' doowwwwnnn."
-
WAAAAAAAAH I WAN TEH AI
-
"Do we need to make this character even worse?"

I laughed. It was a pretty interesting scene. It looked like Del Rio was power hungry, he was captain of a flagship. Whatever he wanted done, got done. Now, this outsider comes in and is stopping him from doing what he wants. He is used to having power and people always obeying him, he snaps because of this. He gets angrier and angrier as he realizes there is literally nothing he can do to stop the chief or sway his mind.
