I mean half the people who always came on these forums have just left completely well most of the people I know on here. I mean...why? Did the new update/layout do it.
Many did not like the new socialized layout and preferred the old traditional forum layout (Like me). So that's a reason why so many have left.

What I posted in another thread:
I noticed this immediately after the update. While it introduced some great new features, most of them have been detrimental. The ability to change your name rips away user individuality, and reverse order of posts generally discourages discussion. When a user looks at a thread, they don't start at the beginning; they start at the end. Instead of engaging in discussion or commenting on what other users have said, people (myself included) just end up posting shitty one liners and short comments. They took a forum community and tried to turn it into a social networking site. It doesn't take a genius to notice that The Flood was one of the most populated forums out there, even in the darkness. Since the update the place is a ghost town. Threads now have a lifetime of hours before garnering significant replies. I remember I could get a hot topic (50 posts) in less than an hour, but now the most replies I get is 25 over the span of half a day. I really have to make an effort to keep posting, and I know others are the same.
