I was just browsing the ViDoc and noticed this interesting preview. I've read a few posts discussing some of the aspects of it, but I haven't seen the screenshot posted. So here it is.

Speaking of the "raid" button, why would bungie put a raid button in if the maximum number of players in any instance of the game is 6. This leads me to believe that there will be content for "raid groups" of at least 12-24 players for sure. Very Exciting!!

I just noticed that 2 of the players have "pants guild" under their name. I wonder if there are clans? I also like the halo style emblems.

Edited by Apotheosis: 3/3/2013 4:34:24 PMInteresting, the squad picture shows 3/8. Could you have multiple squads meet at the same time? Also worthy of note, the random hopper under faction wars, this suggests faction wars will essentially be the standard matchmaking experience.

Edited by Vischu: 3/3/2013 9:41:38 AMLooks like "the city" is where the MMO elements kick in. I think that everyone can walk around there, upgrade gear or whatever. The "chapter 3" is where u can play solo or with friends to progress in the story, maybe fight bosses with rare drops and so on. Raid's have been confirmed for a while and u can see that u can pick the "raid" option in this screenshot. "Faction Wars" I'm not so sure of. It could be the competetive PvP part of this shooter that they confirmed before. Just my speculations tho. -----------edit---------- you can also notice that this is an Xbox screen shot if u look at the "Y" in the bottom right of the picture where it saus : add friends. Just wanted to pont that out if it mattered.

Edited by kaibittner: 3/3/2013 4:31:51 AMIt looks to me like you are the front ship and your friends ships go behind you. Or you can highlight them by bringing them to the front.

3 players in the squad, 3 space-ships. I wonder if you'll actually get to use the ships, or if they're just their in the menus as an identifier.

This game will be an absolute game changer in the way that HALO, Marathon, and Myth were all game changers. I CAN'T WAIT for E3 so I can get my hands on some more info about this game.

I wonder what "random hopper" is? A placeholder? It sounds like matchmaking.

In some ways, like how there is a button specifically for adding friends, this feels like Halo 2. I am really excited about how this might be able to invigorate a community feel again as it was back in Halo 2. They definitely seem to be intent on making this a powerfully social game.
