Last time mine showed the Red Rings was the day the Crimson Map Pack came out for Halo 4. It got a little too hot and shut off in the middle of a match on Harvest.

Bungie Day 2010. ;(

Back in '10, I think. But technically it never did. It just wouldn't work unless we took the casing off and put a fan on it. We played it like that for a good while. Never got a red ring or red anything, though.

I bought my xBox Elite from half.com, in early 2010. As soon as I turned it on, ir RRoD'd. I e-mailed the seller, sent it back, and he sent me a replacement, and I've never had a problem since. And I, too often, turn it on, and leave it on without using it, for hours. I tend to space out and forget I have an xBox once I turn it on.

I've had mine for over 4 years and it has never RROD'd

My Xbox has never gotten the RROD.

It only happened once and I remember playing CoD 4.

2008-ish, since then no problems. I'm also using my cousins 360 he used in college for myself in college that was a day one buy so that's pretty good.

I think 2008 on my first Xbox while watching Resident Evil 5 trailer. Maybe that's why I hate Resident Evil.... My second Xbox has never had a problem.

About 1 week after I got my 360 and I took out my HDD only to put it on wrong and it RRoD'd. Never done it since, it only did 3 rings at one point though when Mass Effect 2 came out.

Never got RROD. I treat my electronics with respect.

Lighting struck something on/outside of my house. I knew I shouldn't have been playing, but I didn't really care. It worked fine afterwards.
