We know that the warlock appears to have fire spells what do you think the other classes will be given from the traveler?

If there is fire you can most likely expect to see some other elements pop up, though the ones I think will be most likely is fire and lightning. (For the Warlock) The Hunter I guess will be given an active camouflage cloak to render near invisible (Crysis/Ghost Recon style?) The Guardian will be your average tank/soldier with heavy armor capabilities and and enhanced armor cloak (once again, Crysis/Ghost Recon style?)

I expect: some kind of healing to take place, modifications to the weaponry, a lot of passive traits to the character and equipment, etc. Most of all I hope that the powers given are entirely rooted in technology, whether by the Traveller or aliens.

Why are so many using the term "magic", if there is anything official about magic please link me, because I haven't seen it yet. In the trailer they spoke about the travelers "powers", as in the title. So it's in my opinion some high-tech equipment, which gives the guardians the power to keep up with the other beings. Even if futuristic things and magic might become pretty similar, it's still not "magic".

I hope the magic is diverse. I hope it isn't just the usual fire, ice, lightning, heal of other games. I want some pretty out there stuff that fits into the future setting of Destiny. I'm thinking short-range teleportation for hunters, and maybe the use of nuclear fission and fusion. The magic of quantum physics!

I hope that the Warlock's abillity is a little more inspired than simply another ranged damage dealer with a fancy particle effect. We have guns for that purpose, the Warlock's Class Abillities should be a tad deeper.

Edited by Rubio Audiotre: 2/28/2013 3:41:48 PMIt looks like a type of fire magic don't know if it's actually fire though could just be a energy blast. It would be cool to see the warlock form energy shields from his hand, or have healing hands to help out his team. Technomancy would be cool i mean the warlock has a robot flying near him so maybe it plays a role. i also think it would be cool for the warlock to imbue his powers into the weapons causing them to have more powerful shots or melee swings. And maybe an electrical current from his hands wouldn't be so bad either. But hopefully Bungie can think up new things, i'd like to see something new.

I agree, Warlocks probably won't be the only class who benefit from The Traveler....I'd give Hunters a cloaking ability (like active cammo) and Titans an ability to take more damage (like over shield). It would be great to see Bungie give them something we've never seen before though.

wow, didn't even think of this. I figure that the spell and the ability to use spells will depend heavily on class. For example, it would make sense for the Titan to have an over-shield or beserker spell, but if you give that to the hunter, its a little useless. I expect that the hunters will have an invisibility spell, or a spell that does something like VISR in ODST or Promethean Vison in H4. these are some spell I think would work with the Titan: damage boost overshields magic imbued melee? (this would be passive) grenade boost? maybe even the ability to summon an ethereal weapon that has better stats than your current weapon? probably low level attack spells: fire ice earth and for the Hunter: stealth (or maybe this will be passive, like in army of two, with agro) invisibility an equivalent of promethean vision damage boost im trying to think, but so far i can only think of these that would go along with the style of Destiny.

I have thought about this to an extent. Setting aside anything specfic my hope is that the "powers" feel appropriate to the class and do not border on the rediculous.
