So Walker actually never went home. He either killed all those soldiers, died trying, or shot himself when he finally found out the truth. A pretty depressing ending to an already depressing game. And I thought that he actually had a chance of redemption.
I think it was implied that he either died or went insane from his severe PTSD.
-
Except he did go home. In my ending, he didn't commit suicide nor did he kill the troops.
-
Ah, so many interprations. Brilliant, brilliant game.
-
Walker just went insane in my game. Or was I who did. I just ended up shooting Konrad, and all the soldiers. I don't think I could ever except the blame for what I did.

Secret fifth ending:
You don't play the game, therefore never comitting the acts that would damn you. Unless of course Walker died in the helicopter crash at the beginning and this is all his dying dream as he relives the last few days in his life.
-
That's because he was stuck in purgatory after his helicopter crashed and killed him in the beginning.

Edited by Pfhortnite: 2/28/2013 1:36:37 AM
Suicide was the best option for him, otherwise he would just be lost in his PTSD driven hallucinations. There's a reason there wasn't an epilogue to his suicide, because that's all there was to it. Great game, by the way.
-
But he got driven home?
-
Damn... that just made the game a whole lot more hopeless for me.
The horror... the horror...
