This should be an easy question. when putting this equation dy/dx=3-(y/x) into standard form.
(dy/dx)+P(x)y=Q(x)
Well how do you find P(x)
It says it's 1/x, but how do we find that?
-
dy/dx = 3 - y/x dy/dx + y/x = 3 dy/dx + (1/x)y = 3 [P(x)]y = (1/x)y [P(x)] = 1/x
