The UN doesn't have its own military force. Member nations send detachments of their armed forces to serve the UN in particular scenarios. For example, the UN force in Rwanda was a unit of Belgians. The UN forces in Srebenica were Dutch. There is a UN force guarding the border between North and South Cyprus which is comprised of British forces.
