So has anyone heard of Ikea's meatballs, how they have horse meat in them, instead of regular meat? I have, and the media is flipping shit about it. I don't know anything about meat, but what is so bad about horse meat? Is it the fact that we don't usually eat horses, and therefore it's disgusting?
Or it there an actual legitimate reason for people being reluctant to eat horse meat?

The big issue is that the food supply should be transparent and honest as to what is in food. There isn't anything "wrong" with horsemeat, it isn't dangerous, it isn't unhealthy, there is a bit of a cultural or social "ickiness" to it for some people, but it isn't harmful. But it is not beef. The problem is that food should be what the seller/producer says that it is.
